Hi April-
I have been going to CNY a little over a year, and TTC for about 2 years. This is the first time I have read your post. I am also a teacher so can relate to trying to fit in all the appointments.
I just finished my first IVF cylce yesterday and now in my 2ww. What you said is so true and really made me think. You have to take everything one day at a time and know you are doing everything you can. I will now look for your posts more often. Thanks for the words of wisdom!
Just an added note, I did acupuncture for the first time yesterday and loved it. I am hooked!

HI Everyone,
Thanks so much for your responses - I really do LOVE reading them! I will use next week's online article to discuss acupuncture in more detail, but let me tell you this much. I have always been "sickly" in the winter, either with sinus infections or bronchitis. This winter I was the healthiest I have ever been. Additionally, I haven't had an MS flare up in quite some time and my anxiety has been greatly diminished. Lastly, my acupuncturist did get me to ovulate at a "healthy" time versus day 8, 9, or 10 of my cycle. I have to give myself daily injections for my MS medication, so I was not looking to forward to needles either, BUT acupuncture itself is relaxing and well worth it. As for starting school again....tell me about it:) We will make it work though - all of us, because we have to.
Please keep the comments coming!!

I am actually a teacher too. It's interesting and frustrating to me. We obviously all love children so much that we have chosen careers where we are surrounded by children yet seem to have so much difficulty having our own. Like each of you, I have already begun the "what if" thinking in terms of returning to school, fitting in appointments, etc. I, too, need a constant reminder to take one day at a time, and that things have a way of working out. I have a very supportive family and a very supportive set of colleagues as well that are constantly rooting for me. Please do share thoughts and feelings regarding the acupuncture. I have thought about giving this a try but the whole "needles" thing freaks me out and I am more concerned about it increasing my stress-level rather than diminishing it. I am very much enjoying the weekly yoga class that I have started to attend though.

Love, love your entry this week, April! I couldnt agree more with you. I will be going back to teaching in September and I have the same feelings. How will I fit in these appointments? What if I am late for work? How can I create my schedule to work around my treatments?
You have a great way of thinking of things. "A little bit at a time." It goes perfectly with my favorite saying. I tell myself everyday, "one day at a time." I even wear a necklace everyday to help remind myself of how important it is to not get overwhelmed. (easier said than done)
You are a very strong woman and are doing amazingly well at taking control of your life. You should be proud of yourself! Always remember, you will be a mom!

Please let us know what you think of the acupuncture. I have been going on and off since April. I find it very relaxing. If I don't go for awhile my body seems to crave it, which is better than craving chocolate I guess.
