Happy New Year, and welcome to this wonderful new month (and opportunity!). January is named after the Greek god, Janus. This particular god represents doors, pathways, beginnings and endings. He is often depicted by an image of two faces, looking in opposite directions. This is the gift we are given in these beginning days of the new year, the ability to look both forward and backward. How have we been caring for ourselves up until this moment? How will we change in the future? With a fresh start (and snow!) it is a wonderful opportunity to explore different ways to enhance and nurture your life. Diet, exercise, faith and spirituality are all amazing avenues to explore. Allow yourself to play, and try something new without the fear of failure or embarrassment. A yoga class is a wonderful first step! Click here to see our yoga schedule at all 3 CNY Healing Arts Center locations (Albany, Syracuse and Rochester).
It is important to remember that while we focus a great deal of time working on our health and physical wellbeing, we cannot neglect the emotional. Our monthly support groups are a great opportunity to explore and nurture the emotional and spiritual effects of infertility in a supportive community environment. Please join us during this fresh, new month for an evening of support:
