CNY Fertility & Healing Arts Center constantly strives to provide the highest quality of care to our clients. In our new adventures at our Latham, NY location, CNY has instituted a “Welcome to CNY” evening for our new clients. Clients who have their initial consult scheduled are invited to join me on the last Wednesday of the month prior to their consult, in the reception area at CNY Fertility, Latham. We understand the decision to come to a fertility center and ask for help is a huge stepping stone for some couples. Actually admitting there is a fertility concern can be overwhelming. It may be the first challenge a couple may face in their relationship.

A primary care physician or gynecologist may have referred you to CNY Fertility. Now what do you do? We are here to make your journey easier. A consult with any specialist can be intimidating. Here is someone you have never met. You are out of your comfort zone: A new office, new doctors, new nurses, and new faces. You meet with the physician and are given all this information, handed packets and papers, answer questions, divulge personal information, meet more people, more information, and more papers. When does it all end? Now, you are sent home to digest everything that has happened over the last two hours. Wow, it can be exhausting and overwhelming. Here at CNY we understand what you are experiencing. That is why we have developed our Welcome to CNY evening.

In a relaxed atmosphere, you are welcomed into our CNY family. You are invited to have a cup of coffee or tea and become accustomed to your new surroundings. Relax; there is no pressure to remember everything this evening, just to learn what CNY is all about. You will be given your welcome gift bag and oriented to its contents. There is a journal in there. This is a great opportunity to write questions, comments or concerns that you will be able to discuss with any one on the day of your consult. Although I may not be able to answer each individual question that you may have, I will do my best to give you an overview or generalized answer. I will introduce you to CNY Healing Arts and what each distinct therapy has to offer. We then take a tour of the entire facility giving you the opportunity to “walk through” your consult day. We will discuss what you can expect on your consult and each office visit after that, incorporating routine testing options, treatments and continued fertility care. Again, this is a generalized overview of what you can expect. The entire evening takes about an hour. Please join me in welcoming you to our CNY Family. I look forward to meeting you.
