Embryologist
Debra received her BS degree from the University of Buffalo. She worked for 14 years in a hospital laboratory specializing in Microbiology before joining our team in 1998. While training in Embryology and Andrology, she established an Endocrinology Laboratory with the facility. She currently oversees all aspects of the Embryology and Andrology laboratories. Debra is member of ASRM, and has been co-author of several publications accepted for poster presentations at the annual national ASRM conventions.

AnnMarie Sciera, MT(ASCP)
Embryologist
AnnMarie received her BS degree from the University of Vermont. She has 17 years of previous laboratory experience in chemistry, hematology and microbiology and joined our team in May, 2001. She currently work in Embryology and also oversees the Endocrinology Laboratory. She is proficient in all ART procedures performed at CNY Fertility Center and is a member of ASRM.

Lareina Restive, MS
Embryologist
Lareina received her MS in Clinical Embryology and Andrology from Eastern Virginia Medical School and BS in Biology from SUNY Oswego. She joined our team in 2003. Previously, she worked at Boston IVF as an Embryologist and Andrologist and received specialized training in endocrinology, ICSI and other micromanipulations at Georgia Reproductive Specialists. While in Georgia, she became laboratory supervisor at Reproductive Laboratories of Augusta where she established and successfully ran their IVF program. She is proficient in all ART procedures performed at CNY Fertility Center, and is a member of ASRM. Lareina is the editor of our e-newsletters, quarterly newsletter and oversees and contributes to the articles, layout and printing process.

Jody Fundalinski, MT (ASCP)Embryologist
Jody received her AAS from Onondaga Community College and BS from University of Buffalo. Jody has worked over 22 years in area hospital laboratories and has specialized in microbiology, virology and immunology. She joined our staff in 2003 and is trained in the endocrine, embryology and andrology laboratories. Jody oversees all data entry for SART including prospective reporting, ultrasounds, pregnancies and final outcomes.

Breanne Coate, BS
Embryologist
Breanne received her BS degree at Oregon State University in biology and chemistry. Since then she has worked as a research assistant for a biotech company, a disease specialist for the State of Oregon, and ran the andrology and endocrinology lab at the Portland, Oregon reproductive clinic. She joined our team in July of 2005 to work in our andrology and endocrinology labs. She is currently working as an embryologist at our Syracuse office.

Jennifer Corona, BS
Andrologist
Jennifer received her degree in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Michigan, and joined our team in October of 2002. She works in the andrology and endocrinology labs, and also on computer programming and statistical reporting. Her background includes biological research in the Florida Everglades, and teaching high school biology.

Eric Buxton, MT, B.S.
Andrologist/Endocrinologist
Eric received his BS at University of Massachusetts at Lowell in clinical laboratory science/ medical technology, with a minor in chemistry. Eric worked as a Lab Scientist II at Children’s Hospital in Boston, MA for 4 years, with a specialty background in chemistry and hematology. He joined our team in September of 2006 and is currently working in our Andrology and Endocrinology laboratories.

Julie Bruno, MT (ASCP)
Andrologist/Endocrinologist
Julie received her BS in medical technology with a minor in chemistry from Suny College at Fredonia. She is licensed as a clinical laboratory technologist by the state of New York. Julie has experience in hospital, reference and physician office laboratories. She joined our practice in 2007 and is training to become an embryologist.

Lisa Hamelinck, MLT
Andrologist/Endocrinologist
Lisa received her AAS degree in Medical laboratory Technology from Alfred State College. She has previously worked as a Quality Control Technician at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics in Rochester and also has experience as a lab technician in a physician’s office setting. She is licensed as a clinical laboratory technician by the state of NY. She joined our team in September 2007 and is currently working in our andrology and endocrine laboratories.

Brenda Luther, MT

Brenda received her BS in Medical Techonology from Upstate Medical Center. She is a New York State licensed clinical laboratory technologist with 28 years of experience in hospital settings and a private hematology/oncology office. Brenda joined CNY Fertility Center in December.

Jeannette Novak, MS, SCT(ASCP), CMIAC
Andrologist/Endocrinologist
Jeannette works in our Andrology and Endocrinology laboratories. She is responsible for processing samples, performing QA/QC, equipment maintenance and maintaining specimen integrity. Jeanette graduated from Upstate Medical Center with her BS in Cytotechnology, and her MS in Health Services Management and Policy from The New School in NYC. Prior to joining the CNY Fertility Team in January of 2009, she worked at Community General /Laboratory Alliance for 20 years as a senior Cytotechnologist.

Stephanie Rando, MT

Stephanie received her education in the United States Army through George Washington University as a Medical Laboratory Specialist. She has seven years of experience in hospital and physician’s office settings, specializing in Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Services. Stephanie is licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Technician by the State of New York. She joined our team in November 2009 to work in our andrology and endocrinology labs and is currently training to become an embryologist.

Donna Miller, RN
IVF and Oocyte Donor Coordinator
Donna coordinates IVF from satellite offices and has coordinated patients coming from as far as the UK for IVF and oocyte donation at CNY Fertility Center. She also gives medication protocols, monitors patient’s stimulation with ultrasound and performs intrauterine inseminations. A graduate of Cayuga Community College, she has worked in reproductive medicine since 1996. She’s a member of the ASRM.

Meg Marnell, RN, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
She received her BS in Nursing from Niagara University. Meg worked as an RN at Community General Hospital for eight years prior to graduating from their Nurse Practitioner Program in 1994. She practiced as a NP with a local physician for 6 years before joining CNY Fertility Center in January 2003. Meg sees patients for their initial consultation and exam. She also monitors patients in stimulation performing ultrasounds, intrauterine inseminations, pre-operative history and physicals, and donor FDA exams. She is a member of ASRM and currently a member of the medical staff at Community General Hospital.

Linda Redmond
Licensed Practical Nurse
Linda assists with patient care by performing blood draws and medication administration. She assists with IVF and sperm aspiration procedures. Linda recovers IVF patients and works with patient education and medication instruction. She graduated from OCM-BOCES with her nursing degree and has worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital as well as in an area cardiology office before starting here in the summer of 2002.

LuAnn Giannone, RN, BSN
Registered Nurse
LuAnn is a graduate of Cayuga Community College and SUNY Plattsburgh with a BS in Nursing. Prior to her joining CNY Fertility Center in June of 2003 she was a public health nurse in Cayuga County specializing in Maternal Child Health. She also worked at Family Planning and Community General Hospital. LuAnn monitors patients in stimulation performing ultrasounds and intrauterine inseminations. She also performs prenatal ultrasounds.

Kari Gardner, LPN
Egg Donor Coordinator
Kari assists with patient care by performing blood draws, medication administration, and patient education. She also assists with IVF procedures, recovering patients, sperm aspirations and works in the operating room as a circulating and scrub nurse. Kari also works in the Endocrinology and Andrology laboratories in our office. She graduated from OCM-BOCES with a nursing degree. She worked at the VA Hospital before joining us in 2001.

Wendy A. Housley, CMA
Wendy graduated from Central City Business Institute of Syracuse, where she was certified as a medical assistant. She was previously employed at Shady Grover Fertility Center in Maryland where she worked with the OR staff and assisted with IVF procedures and patient recovery for 8 years. Currently she assists during IVF procedures, embryo transfers and recovers patients in our OR. She joined CNY Fertility Center’s staff in August of 2005.

Michelle Spraker, LPN
Michelle completed OCM Boces’s LPN program in 2004 and has been working at a local physician’s office since graduation. Michelle joined our team in September 2006 and assists with patient care, blood draws, medical instructions and administration.

Rebecca Akey, LPN
Graduated from Champlian Valley Technical School of Nursing in Plattsburgh,NY 1997.
She has eight years of experience with family practice at a local family practice group. She also has two years of Ob/Gyn experience. Rebeacca joined CNY Fertility Center in December 2006. At CNY Fertility Center she assist with IVf and OR procedures, embryo transfers, recovery of patients, also with medication administration, injections and instructions, blood draws, triage of phone calls with local and out of town patients.

Shannon Brancieri, RN
Shannon is a graduate of The University of Connecticut where she received a B.S. in nursing. She has been a nurse for 10 years with experience in infertility and labor and delivery. Shannon assists with surgical procedures and patient recovery in addition to drawing blood and patient teaching. She joined our team in September 07.

Allyson is a graduate of Norwich University, Vermont where she received her BS in nursing. She has 6 years experience in Labor and Delivery and 11 years experience as an Occupational Health Nurse. Courtney Weinshenker, RN
Cortney is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Nursing and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Cortney hs been a member of the CNY Fertility team since September of 2008. She assists with all OR procedures including laparscopic surgery, embryo transfers, HSG exams and in vitro fertilization. She is devoted to client care and enjoys being part of such a positive and helpful facility.

Missy Spraker, LPN
Missy helps patients by reviewing medication instructions and assisting physicians with new patient consults. She draws blood, takes patient’s vitals and plays a vital role with patient education. Missy joined the CNY Fertility Center team in February of 2009. She graduated from OCM Boces in 2008 with her LPN. Prior to that, she became interested in the medical field while she was a phlebotomist for 14 years at LabCorp, Quest and Centrex.

Front Office
Judy DeCoste
Office Manager
Judy oversees the daily operation of the front office. Judy is integral in acquiring pre-determination letters from insurance companies prior to procedures. She orders medications for patients, and schedules Dr. Kiltz’s surgeries. She also performs Human Resources duties. Judy regularly meets with patients during their consultations to explain their insurance benefits as well as the costs that pertain to their treatment. She received her Medical Assistant Certificate from BOCES in Liverpool and joined the CNY Fertility Staff in September of 1997.

Katherine Sarenski
Accountant
Katherine joined the team in August 2008 as the financial manager for CNY Fertility, CNY Healing Arts and our other related entities. Katherine is responsible for managing all financial processes, data and analysis for our organizations and providing financial advice and support. Prior to joining the CNY family, Katherine worked in public accounting for 15 years.

Mary Anne Testo
Receptionist
Mary Anne opens our front office each morning, runs reports, answers phones, schedules appointments and checks patients in. She helps keep our front office running smoothly throughout the day. Mary Anne is likely the first person you’ll see as you walk through our doors. She has a patient focused approach, and she offers compassion and support to our patients during their treatment with us. Mary Anne has been with us since September of 2000.

Pati Breh
Assistant Oocyte Donor Coordinator
Pati has been with us since February of 2002 assisting with the coordination of the egg donor program. She educates oocyte recipients about our PRIDE program and assists in the selection of an oocyte donor. Pati helps to recruit new donors and maintains current donors within the egg donor program.

Tracey has been at CNY Fertility Center since 2005. Tracey is our financial coordinator and helps patients with their insurance and financial needs. She is a resource for helping patients discover the different ways that they can afford the fertility treatments that they need.

Danielle joined CNY Fertility Center in February 2007. Danielle makes new consultation appointments, answer phones, and schedule appointments. Amy was previously employed for 6 years at CNY Family Care where she gained experience in all aspects of insurance referrals and front office flow. At CNY Fertility Amy calls on insurance benefits for patients, answers phones and checks in patients. Amy schedules patient consultations and prepares paperwork for new patients. Amy joined CNY Fertility in April of 2007.

Sharon received her Associate Degree from Bryant and Stratton Business School, worked 10 years at a physician’s office as an Office Manager, Medical Assistant and Billing Representative. She then worked 8 years at a Medical Billing Company as a Billing Representative before joining CNY Fertility Center in 2003. She helps our patients with insurance, billing questions, and problems they may come across during their journey with us.

Debbie D’Agostino
Patient Accounting Representative
Debbie obtains insurance benefits and referral information for patients beginning or continuing with treatment at our facility. She acquires pre-authorization for medical procedures as well as medications for our patients. Debbie received her Medical Assistant Certificate from Stratford School. Prior to joining us in June of 2002 she worked at SUNY Health Science Center in data entry, medical records, and as a medical receptionist.

Maureen Sweet
Eivf Coordinator and Data Technician
Maureen reviews upcoming IVF case information and inputs the proper data for SART, fertility clinic’s reporting agency for the CDC. Maureen coordinates many aspects related to the day to day management of our electronic medical record system eIVF.

Paul Scharf
Systems Administrator
Paul is a graduate of Buffalo State College and the University of Buffalo with a BA in Political Science and Computer Science. Prior to joining our team in September of 2009, Paul was the Lead Tech for the MTA Division for New York State at STI Computer Services. Paul worked at STI for 9 years. Paul manages and implements all computer related functions at all facilities and is currently involved in employing eIVF, an electronic medical records application.

Josh Carroll

Josh joined our team in 2009, he is originally from Syracuse. He completed his networking and programming training at Central Technical Vocational. He’s attended both LeMoyne and RIT. Previous to joining the CNY Fertility team Josh was an on-site and contract technician. At CNY Fertility Center Josh has helped with the implementation of Eivf and the maintenance of servers and computer systems at all facilities.

William James
Maintenance
Wil James moved to CNY in 2007, and was employed with the maintenance crew at Temple Concord in Syracuse NY for two years prior to joining CNY Fertility and CNY Healing Arts staff this year. Wil is in charge of the maintenance responsibilities at our centers, keeping the appearance of our buildings orderly and clean.
