Rebecca & Braden
Rebecca & Braden's Story:
My husband and I started trying to start our family in April of 2021. After eight months of trying with no luck in sight, I mentioned it to my PCP. He quickly put in a referral to our first fertility clinic. After running testing, we were diagnosed with “unexplained infertility.”
We went through two IUI’s and two medicated cycles with this clinic, again with no success. During our time with our first clinic, COVID-19 was a big issue, and the clinic lost a lot of staff during this time. They stopped doing IUI’s, and we weren’t ready for IVF.
We switched to a new clinic, where we were quickly diagnosed with PCOS. We did two IUI’s and seven medicated cycles with this clinic, unfortunately all unsuccessful.
We finally decided IVF was the next step for us, however our clinic quoted us a price we couldn’t afford for a long time.
I quickly started looking into different ways we could afford IVF; this is when I stumbled on CNY! The Sarasota office opened right before we started treatment. We had our egg retrieval at Sarasota in November 2023 and got nine embryos! We did a fresh day-5 transfer that unfortunately didn’t stick. In December, I had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Kiltz, and we discussed the possibility of my having endometriosis.
He mentioned surgery or two months of suppression medicine, and we decided the medication route was best for us. Once I finished medications, we were ready for our first frozen transfer in May!
May 3rd 2024 my sister and I flew to Florida for transfer! I did a PRP and HCG wash two days before transfer. Monday morning, we transferred one of our embryos, and shortly after found out it stuck! Little man is expected to be here in January 2025!

Favorite Team Member at CNY:
All of the staff at the Sarasota clinic were amazing! When coming in for egg retrieval I was so nervous, but everyone made me feel like I was right at home. I’m so thankful for this! Every visit at the clinic the staff was wonderful and welcoming! We appreciate all of you so much!
The Moment:
I started testing just days after transfer, “testing out” my HCG wash... May 12th, Mother’s Day, my test line was darker! I was so excited! I cried but decided to keep the secret until beta day. After getting the call on beta day confirming we were pregnant I set up a big surprise for my husband once he got home to share!
Hope, Inspiration and Advice:
I know we’re all tired of hearing it, but don’t give up. The power of prayer is beyond anything we could imagine!
