They say it takes a village to raise a child, but often it takes it village to make a child. Here at CNY, we believe proper education and care for your emotional well-being can be a vital aspect of treating your infertility. We understand that each person’s experience is different and thus recommend or offer a wide range of support options.
Free Emotional Support Options
CNY Fertility offers two free support options run by Tekla Barrett. Tekla is a fertility coach and licensed psychotherapist specializing in fertility issues.
Virtual Support Groups
We offer FREE virtual support groups on the first and third Tuesday of every month.
One on One Consultation
We offer one FREE 30-minute support consultation with Tekla Barrett. It is a great option to get the support you need from a trained fertility support specialist. Great after experiencing difficult news or a particularly challenging day or to simply process all that is going on in your family-building journey.
Yoga Based Support
We’ve partnered with two amazing yoga for fertility programs to get your body, mind, and spirit in the best place imaginable for treatment. Amazingly, Harvard researchers have shown those who participate in yoga for fertility programs have up to 5x times the reproductive success.

Peer Based Support Options
The Fertile Friends Program
Our fertile friend program is a great way to connect with an experienced CNY Grad who knows what dealing with infertility is all about, can offer you tips, a shoulder to cry on and so much more. For CNY grads, it’s a great way to give back to those in our community still struggling to grow their family.
Facebook Support Groups
We operate a number of private Facebook support groups for general fertility support, men TTC, successful CNY grads to talk about pregnancy and family life, those looking to donate or receive donor embryos, and for those who were unsuccessful in growing their family but seeking a happy and fulfilling life past TTC. Due to the privacy settings on the Facebook group, users must inquire below to be added to any of the above groups.
