Semen Analysis (including morphology) –
Avoid ejaculating for 24-72 hours prior.
Do not use any lotions or gels during the collection process.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and any drugs for 2-5 days prior.
At CNY Fertility, a semen analysis is approximately $50 and cryopreservation (freezing) is currently $100.
We recommend completing a semen analysis on the cryopreservation sample so we know the quality of the sperm we are freezing, as the sperm quality can change over time.
***IF YOU ARE 50+ YEARS OLD OR if you have a medical condition requiring you to be cleared for pregnancy – In the Recipient information packet, you will find the medical clearance letter that both your Primary Care Physician and OBGYN must sign, date and stamp with their license number.
It is recommended that you update your preconception screening every year. If you have undergone any testing within the past 12 months outside our facility, please upload those records under Documents > Patient Uploads > right above where it says upload document there is a link that says “please click here to upload pdf files”.
