Alexandra & Taylor's Story:

My husband Taylor and I planned our lives out in ways that we thought were responsible. We had stable careers, a house, we wanted to travel, etc. Once we agreed we were in a good position, we decided we were ready to try for a baby. We were in our early 30’s and didn’t want to wait any longer.

After 1.5 years of trying, we knew something wasn’t right, so we decided to pursue testing and fertility treatments. After years of failure, 3 IUI’s, and endless testing, by a miracle we found CNY.

Before finding CNY, we ruled out IVF due to the cost of treatment locally. CNY was an answered prayer with their affordable treatment options so we decided to jump right in.

Through the grace of God, our first Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) of an untested 4AA embryo gave us our miracle boy, Arthur John.

We cannot thank CNY and everyone involved enough for bringing this dream to reality. We are excited to jump into another round of treatment to give our little man a sibling!

Leaning on my support system was so helpful for me. When I was down, they held me up, especially my husband who was my rock through everything. Talking about my journey with loved ones really lifted a weight off of me.

The Moment:

I took off work and stayed home that day in case we received bad news, I didn’t want to have to go through the emotions at work. The moment I found out I was pregnant was completely surreal. I wish I could go back and relive it because I felt as if I were in a dream. I immediately called my husband who was at work and shared the most amazing news. Soon after we shared the news with family who was eagerly awaiting our results as well!

Hope, Inspiration and Advice:

Advice to others: don’t give up hope. There are so many avenues and so many resources out there to help make your dream of having a baby a reality. The road of infertility is long and so incredibly hard, especially when you’re used to seeing negative test after negative test. Please don’t lose hope and keep pursuing your dream. Have faith.
