Amy & James's Story:
I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2012, right before my husband and I got engaged.
We knew that diagnosis meant conceiving would be significantly more difficult than we thought. We decided to begin trying to conceive right after we got married in 2013.
In 2015, we had our first miscarriage. Over the years, we went on to have another miscarriage and failed cycle after failed cycle.
We had fertility clinics turn us away, and doctors tell us to give up over and over again.
In 2021, we found CNY. They didn't turn us away because of my diagnosis or because of my BMI.
It was a feeling of acceptance, kindness, and an eagerness to help us that we'd never felt before. And it was amazing. After one IVF cycle with the Albany office, we became pregnant with our miraculous twins.

I began exercising in true geek fashion; with my Ring Fit on the Nintendo Switch and my VR headset.
Unique Moments:
My husband and I drove from our home in Florida up to Albany for the retrieval and transfer. The road trip itself was an incredible experience, and we were able to spend quality time together exploring historic Albany between our retrieval and fresh transfer.
Hope, Inspiration and Advice:
Our advice would be to do everything you can to find solace and comfort in one another. The process is stressful but it's less so when you're on the same page and supporting one another.
