Ashlee & Jakhary's Story:

After about a year of trying to have a baby unsuccessfully I saw my first reproductive endocrinologist.

I was told that I suffer from secondary infertility. In 2017 I began my first fertility treatments which included medication and a procedure called IUI. I had several unsuccessful rounds of treatment and I started to become discouraged. I joined several infertility support groups and started doing some research on the cost of fertility treatment, specifically IVF. During the course of my research I came across CNY Fertility.

Long story short, my husband and I decided to travel from Oregon to NY to meet reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Robert Kiltz (the most amazing human ever).

Dr. Kiltz takes an overall holistic approach to fertility treatment which is how I stumbled across keto. Dr. Kiltz suggested that I follow Maria and Craig Emmerich on social media to educate myself on the benefits of eating ketogenic and how it lowers inflammation in the body which was one of my biggest issues with my infertility.

I immediately did just that! I purchased three of Maria and Craig’s cookbooks and began my keto journey. After two rounds of IVF treatment which included medications, keto, acupuncture and massage I had success. In 2019 I had my rainbow baby. I owe my success to Maria, Craig, Dr. Kiltz and the CNY staff. I am forever grateful.

My husband and I continue to eat ketogenic to this day as the benefits are truly life-changing.
