Jackie & Justin's Story:
My husband and I started trying to conceive right after we got married. After 6 months of trying unsuccessfully my OBGYN ordered test after test for me and my husband. The doctor couldn't find anything wrong and wanted us to try IUI.
I was hesitant to try any fertility treatments at first, so we decided to try everything else. We both changed our diets, changed all products we used to non-toxic alternatives and I started acupuncture. Six months later we were still unsuccessful and my acupuncturist suggested I consider IVF. That's when we first talked to CNY.
At the time I had inflammation in my GI track and I was told me it was in my best interest to take care of that first because any inflammation could prevent pregnancy. That was the first time any doctor mentioned this to us. So we went to work on healing my tummy, but 8 months later we were still not pregnant. That's when we decided to start IVF.
We came up to the Syracuse office from NJ to meet Dr. Kiltz and that day was the first day in 20 months that I felt OK. We started the retrieval process in September of 2018. I ended up having hyperstimulation. We were bummed we couldn't do a transfer right away but my body needed some more time to heal.
After a few ultrasounds, we were told that the transfer date would be December 10th. We were amazed, because that was also our wedding anniversary. It was meant to be! We transferred 2 embryos and waited the longest 2 weeks of our life. We were pregnant! And a few weeks later we found out we were having twins! In August of 2019 we were blessed with 2 beautiful baby boys.
