Linda & Alejandro's Story:

After two years of trying to conceive naturally and countless "not pregnant" tests, my husband and I decided to seek medical advice.

Our doctors recommended IVF, and we explored three different fertility centers. The first one was a terrible experience. The second, located abroad, was much better. There, we transferred two embryos, resulting in a positive test. Unfortunately, it ended in an ectopic pregnancy at six weeks, leading to emergency surgery and heartbreak. We later transferred our last embryo, but it didn’t stick.

Several friends suggested looking into CNY Fertility Center. After my initial consultation, we started the process in April 2024. My husband and I drove six hours weekly for labs and monitoring. On egg retrieval day, we collected ten eggs, resulting in four embryos. During the transfer, my husband had a strong feeling that this was the one.

After two egg retrievals and three transfers, our miracle embryo finally stuck. I carried our baby for exactly 39 weeks, and we welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world!

The Moment:

After my fresh transfer, we were told to wait until beta day to test—but I couldn’t resist. I started testing on day 7 post-transfer and felt disheartened because I wasn’t experiencing any pregnancy symptoms. Then, on day 9, I saw it—a faint positive line on the test! Overwhelmed, I began crying uncontrollably. When my husband walked in, I shared the incredible news with him.

On December 30, 2024, at 11:25 PM, I held our beautiful daughter for the first time. My husband and I cried tears of joy, overwhelmed that she was finally here. After all the medications, shots, and challenges of IVF, the moment felt like a dream come true.
