Mercedez & Aaron's Story:
After 4 years of trying to conceive, we finally decided to seek help. We found a fertility clinic here in Texas, unfortunately after 3 medicated cycles, I still wasn't ovulating. So we decided to go big and do IVF.
I learned about CNY through TikTok, and I'm so thankful I did!
My consultation was on January 30, 2024. They had a game plan and we got started right away, luckily my husband and I had already had all of our fertility testing done 9 months before so we skipped past that part and by the middle of February we were at CNY Colorado for our egg retrieval!
We retrieved 10 eggs, and of the 10, 5 of them made it to blast. I developed ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome so we had to wait a month for our transfer, which was fine, we came back home and 3 weeks later we were back in Colorado for our frozen embryo transfer.
Dr. Fink spoke with such certainty when he did my transfer! I remember him saying 3, 2, 1 you're pregnant! And it was so! I was pregnant until proven otherwise! And 5 days later, 4 days before Easter I got my BFP.
Helpful resources Mercedez & Aaron found:
I did everything in my power to make sure the transfer was successful. Tiktok is a great place to find helpful information about embryo transfers! I ate the pineapples, I drank the pomegranate juice, I didn't drink or eat anything ice cold for 3 weeks, I took all the vitamins recommended from the book "The Egg and I," I did the acupuncture, I prayed so hard. I did everything to make sure this beautiful embryo stayed with me.
The Moment:
We were on our way back to Texas, just about to cross the state line when I felt the most wonderful, indescribable little pinch on my left side. In that moment I told my husband, "I think she just implanted" and at 5dp5dt I took a test that evening and got my BFP. I ran through the house yelling for my husband, crying the happiest tears. I couldn't believe it. I met my miracle baby 8 weeks early on October 6, 2024. I had developed pre eclampsia and had an emergency c section. She was born 2 pounds 11 oz. She's such a fighter. The first time I held her she looked up at me with her big beautiful eyes and I had never cried so much in my life. I knew I had beaten infertility thanks to CNY fertility. None of this would've been possible without them and God.
Hope, Inspiration and Advice:
When you're in the middle of the storm that is infertility, it feels like it'll never happen for you. I know that's how I felt, I could never imagine being pregnant. But it happened, with the right team working for me, and the right support behind me. It is possible! Don't give up, your time is coming and it will happen!
