Miranda & Dexter's Story:
My husband and I got married August, 2016. After a couple years of marriage, we decided that we were ready to start our family.
We began naturally trying on our own in April 2018. That is when we began to actually start tracking/timing. A year passed, and we still had not conceived. I called my OB/GYN, and we did multiple labs/ultrasounds to rule out any reason why we were not pregnant. Everything came back normal for both my husband and I.
We were then referred to our local fertility center (not CNY), where we did a few months of medicated cycles. This is when they diagnosed me with "unexplained infertility." After many months of medication, we moved forward with IUI. We did a total of 9 IUI's in just over a year. After IUI #7, I had a laparoscopic procedure done, where they found Endometriosis. We did two more IUI's, which failed.
Financially strained due to insurance not covering any treatment, we tried naturally on our own with no success.
My friend had her miracle baby because of CNY Fertility, so I decided to pick up the phone in April 2022 and was scheduled for a consultation on July 5, 2022, with CNY.
We began the IVF process in September 2022 because CNY is affordable!
On September 24, I had my retrieval with 19 embryos. On October 17, 2022, we transferred our frozen 4AA embryo. On October 21, I could finally see two pink lines for the first time! We now have our miracle daughter, who was born on June 28, 2023.
We know that everyone is not as lucky as we are with having our first FET work. But without CNY, we would not have our sweet daughter. CNY is a great clinic. They were so knowledgeable, understanding, and genuinely caring.
We can't thank CNY Buffalo (especially Dr. Chang) enough!

Dr. Chang is AMAZING! He helped calm my nerves and stress with the retrieval and transfer.
The whole team is amazing. They answer questions in a manageable time and help ease the stress!
The Moment:
The day I found out I was pregnant, I was in disbelief.
After my first test showing two pink lines, I did many more tests that day just to see that 2nd line keep showing up! My husband and I were finally hugging and holding each other with happy tears and pure joy instead of sadness!
Hope, Inspiration and Advice:
My daughters middle name is Faith. Faith is what we needed during this long, difficult journey.
When we started our infertility journey, I knew nothing. I kept doing the same procedures over and over and I was just feeling like a number at my local fertility clinic. Picking up the phone and calling CNY is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. @kylieh
