Where do I begin…Let’s start with trust and first with trusting your body.
4 years ago my husband and I were ready to grow our family. After a recent miscarriage, I was heartbroken and wanted a baby right away.
I was 22, healthy, no underlying health problems so why was I not getting pregnant again? I brought it up at my annual OB appointment and was shrugged off due to my age and no obvious health concerns.
That’s when I had the gut feeling that something was wrong, but no one would listen.
It took 4 OBs to validate my concerns, and for someone to finally take me seriously.
We started from square one with general labs, HSG, and a semen analysis. Long story short we were now faced with female and male factor infertility.
We spent the next year traveling to different clinics and getting the same answers every time. “There’s no hope.” “You’ll never have a baby.”
I sat in many parking lots heartbroken knowing that I would never carry a child.
At this point, we knew IVF would be our only option, but we were denied by multiple clinics around us due to the low odds of success.
Then a CNY ad came up one day…. I submitted an inquiry for a consult and didn’t think much of it.
6 months later we had a phone consult with Kris Ziegler. This was the first time we had hope. We had options. We had answers and a positive outlook on the situation.
We scheduled our first trip to Syracuse for May of 2021 which continued to bring more good news.
By July I had our egg retrieval and in September we did a frozen transfer!
1 year after starting with CNY we are holding our miracle little girl.
Something we truly thought would never be possible, and without CNY she would not be here. We will never be able to thank them enough for not only their expertise and services, but for the hope they provided throughout the process.

Hope, Inspiration and Advice:
Trust your body. General practitioners and even OBGYNs are not fertility experts. If you feel like something is off or wrong it probably is - go see a fertility specialist.
